See How Anuhya Has Changed Over Time

This coral formation is nicknamed "Anuhya" as a nod to the unexpected discoveries we've made here over the past half-dozen years. The name carries several connotations, such as a delightful surprise, a younger sister, and beyond one's wildest dreams. Our journey of video surveillance of this large mound-like Porites evermanni coral colony began in 2017. This page isn't teeming with fish; instead, it takes you on a journey through the transformation of a single large mound-like coral colony over a relatively short span of time. Given its size, this particular colony could very well be centuries old. The swift changes we've documented in just the past six years serve both as a desperate call for action and a beacon of hope.
